had a blast for my Xmas 2009

weeks ago.... Wendy suggested to gv a Xmas surprise for dad and mum.....
d plan goes like....
" Wendy asking dad and mum go to spore spend d Xmas with her..... while Tina and me lied to them that we gonna spend our Xmas in msia instead... (to make them feel sad for not being able to celeb d fest together-gether... hehe^^ ) ; HOWEVER... d truth is.... we will take flight to spore on Xmas day itself... and appear as the Xmas gift~ Surprise!!!! "

everything is well-planned...
altho Tina thought tat our secret trip has been revealed b4 we took d flight....
tee-hee... luckily it was jz sum communication error....
d secret is nicely-sealed.... =)

kinda regret for not taking dwn their reaction when they saw us appear in front of them.....

TO MY GOLFBALLS

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle,
when 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.

When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
"I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life."

The golf balls are the important things - God, family, children, health, friends, and favorite passions – Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else - literally the small stuff.

"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued,
"there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life."

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Spend time with your family.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

"Take care of the golf balls first - the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled.

"I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

it was black in color after i went to bukit tabur......
after months of "recovery" ...
it turns bek to d normal color recently......
however....
while i was doin my weekly report jz nw.....
my wrist pulled out the whole nail accidently.....
i dint notice it til i felt a sudden pain......
where part of it stil stick with d flesh...
O-MY -GOD@!!!!!!!

i lost my nail!!!!!
i look at it n shed....
i smsed wendy and called mum.....
mum said.. she expected it to happen... cz d black color nail = dead dy~
but wat i'm sked is whether will it grow back???

tis word has bcm my favourite shout-out these days...
especially during the lab session for FYP or during d meet up with Sir...
to show d sincerity of d shine~!!! it mz alwz accompanied with d body language....
do watch carebears for d reference! LOL!

craziness strikes when lots of things nid to be done in a short period of time....
it shud b a fruitful sem..... **i hope**
anyway.. i'm glad that the random thought in the lab about these carebears did made my day SHINE!!
in a way that i did feel better instead of being so tensed up...
however, by shouting SHINE wont solve d problems practically.....
i stil hv a long way to strive hard... yet in a short time~

A letter from d baby sister

d recent big thing -FYP has drawn me out from my usual crazy social life....
it's been long since i last yumcha, last skate, last hangout, last pillow-talk, last sit up, etc....
just so-not-me~

and the recent phobia - nitemares tat kept haunting me each nite....
about losing my love ones.......
it's just so not fun :(

whew~
luckily... d google image today wakes me up from those crazy to-do-list...
at least stop me from scratching my head on hw i shud carry out my coming days for jz a lil while.... to write tis entry as a reply to my dear sis.... :)

many thought that i've only one elder sis...
actually... i've two elder sisters...
both with such a contrast characteristics (for what i've observed since young)..
but both intelligent, both pretty, both is banana! LOL
both are my lovely sis....

i've officially ended my internship...
kinda miss d life back there.... with all d luvly colleagues.... they were really nice to me....
and i'm really sorry to turn dwn d lunch gatherings that were offered for d past few weeks...

santa time!

as promise... sensei brought d prezzie for d group tat won d game last week....
there were still a lot of these wasabi nuts left...
thus she made another impromptu game for d rest of us......
n i got two of these small lil packets of "wasabi nuts"

attending the Japanese class was nvr a wrong decision made during this internship
altho i've been lamenting alot on d exhaustion i had suffered.....

but it does remind me of my Japan trip a year back......

i spent my luvly holiday back in Muar....

with the main activity = MATTA FAIR 2009
i'm vr impressed about their great work in distributing the free masks in each bags for each participant...
and oso setting up d antibacterial sanitizer at every exit/entrance and outside d washrooms...
but sum ppl jz wont even bother to wear d mask in d hall..... haiz

oh ya... before we head to PWTC...
we actually had our brunch at the new restaurant at Bandar Sunway
nice place indeed... nice decoration... n NICE SERVICE provided....
FREE wifi, FREE fax, FREE photostate, FREE charging hp..... XD

i'm currently in muar....
i went for yumcha jz nw with my ex-primary-classmates..
altho lots of invitation have been sent out....
but only 4 turn up.....
everyone is so busy with the 3-days-holis....
or sum stil stuck at KL... cudnt get a bus bek......

but d number of person turning up is nt a serious matter...
d thing is... all of us stil care about each other altho we were far apart...
and tis frenship really last for a real long time and it's stil counting.......
(it's true for me)

with them... i feel free to talk...
altho we shoot each other... but we noe we weren't mean it....
there're sum frens where u will find threat in between d frenship...
but with them.... there isnt...
it's jz a pure frenship that remains

i got see yin's msn tis afternoon...
with the 1st few words tat really terrified me...
"karen..... SCARY!!!!"
aiks........ plz ... not again~!!
it's hse problem once more......
not with the pumping system tis time.....
but d floor tiles problem.....
around 24 tiles were affected... hope tat d situation wont deteriorate......
if not..... i cant imagine wat's gonna happen......

i reached home around 5pm....
n i started to shift my things into my room....
i'm d only one affected in d hse.... as most of my things are placed in d living room...
including my study table......
let's hope tat everything gonna be alrite..... altho i see tat d cracking getting worsen after hours...
but not to d extend tat my finger can get into d crack... whew^^

while doin d clean up... and rearranging.....
i found a lot of surprises tat pinch my heart.....
"it's easier to delete a person's contact... it's jz by a clicking a mouse or pressing of a button..... but does it mean tat tis person is being deleted from ur life.. or from ur heart forever?"
i wrote this during d 1st time i met d true fren of mine......
which was about 3 years back.....

reading it right nw......
only i noticed tat d scar is stil there......
right at a corner of my heart which was well hidden...
till i noticed it today after flipping thru all d notes and blessings written by d camp-mates...

truly a fren tat i treasure...
i really hv to admit...
tat tis frenship can nvr be forgotten...
n nvr be able to be replaced.......
i will take care of those nice memories.....
d precious moments....
and d lovely advices and "suan siao"
till my last breath.....
cz i stil care...

many says that it's a wrong decision staying back at cyber for the internship...... many asks y not go to other places instead of staying back in cyber......

at 1st... i thot so too....
but things jz wont turn out to be wat u alwz wish for......
u can nvr please everyone.... even i myself sumtimes find it hard to plz myself...

so... here i m.....
"stuck in cyber"=> the phrase tat i used to tag along with me whenever i c my frens....
BUT.....
it's jz a phrase tat i use..
but d thing is.. i'm not stucked here at all..... (mayb it's jz me myself think tat i'm not stucked)
i enjoy it pretty much~

instead of d routine kickboxing lessons tat i've signed up since 2 years ago (gosh.. time flies..)
i took up this Japanese Language Beginner Class every Tuesday night.....
i've to admit : "YES.... I'M TIRED !!! but i did learn sth besides my internship.. sumtimes i even dragged my footsteps to campus... "
i may not be d best student.... but i made d effort to learn....
i may not be d most intelligent one.... but i stood up myself to practice my broken Japanese every Tuesday.....

thus, there goes d every Tues and Thurs nites of my internship.....
Monday was suppose to be d skate lesson.. but i seriously hv to apologize to all my skate dearies......
cz for not appearing in d Monday nites..... i'll try my best to meet up with u guys ya~!

we headed to Bandar Sunway.... where Tina stayed.....

my dad's best fren's shop.....

i did enjoy d concert......
cz i get to listen to d songs from different generations...
n those songs tat i've nearly forgotten.... but they were so familiar...
as my dad luvs singing and listening to music...
he used to sing those songs when i was a kid.....
n i'm glad that i noe those songs......
guess wat??? i was so busy typing all those songs' name using my hp......
so as to keep it as a record...... SEARCH it... n compile it !!! :)

one good thing about tis concert was tat....
they display d lyrics of d songs they sang....
everyone get so high and sang along with them!!!!!!!
imagine d 60 years old + uncle stil jumping around d stage.....
with another 50 years old+ , 40 years old +, 30 years old + singers....
imagine d first song that d oldest singer composed was d year d youngest singer's birth year....
hahhahaa~~~ :P
to me..... they are awesome..... with all d talent they had.....

My curious dog... half-black-faced.

Am sharing some pictures of my dog, Timbo, a pretty golden retriever. She's a curious dog, and she always sniffs around the auto-gate at my apartment building area in the morning when I bring her for a walk.

Most of the time, she will end up having half her face half black - full of black oil because of her sniffing at the auto-gate... aiyo!

before having lunch with the vendor on last thursday (after the audit at ericsson)...
i tested on tis microcirculation test
it's kinda cool.....
by jz using a small microscope... it checks on ur blood vessels all over ur body....
without poking ur flesh to get any blood.....
cool isn't it??

since i was so terrified of being poked by syringe...
and i was so curious about tis technology......
by jz looking at one of ur finger nail..
it checks all d blood vessels from ur head to ur toe.....
and tis is wat i got....

sungguh memalukan.....
i applied medical leave d next day i went to the CBJ exchange...
it's really freezing cold in the coins room..........

recently, i've been treating my cubicle as my office, library, playground, cyber cafe.....

altho i jz only started working for one week....
but i've tonnes of things to learn.... hundreds of slides to read........
making myself blurer n blurer........

however.... d best part of it is... i stil hv my own cubicle....
and i can online during working hours...
which at least makes my life more lively!!!!! **wakakaa**
at least not tat dull (reading like a nerd) ==
and another good thing is to have a teman to take bus together to n fro with...

it's been........ almost a year after tat "incident"....
to be frank, tat "incident" was really a disaster at tat particular time.....
however, tat's when u see who ur true frens are.... n who actually walk away from ur life when u nid them....
and... most importantly....
i've nvr expect that i would be able to "gain" so much after that "incident"
believe it or not.....

Singapore Trip during midterm break_Day 2 (23rd March 2009)

It's d last day staying in Spore for d trip.....
we decided to take wendy's suggestion, trying on a cycling adventure at east coast park.....
which turned out to b d most tiring day~~~ yet d most unforgettable one.....
cz we cycled for 2 hours from d place we started till we manage to see changi airport ==
we even spotted snake~
which made all of us stunned!! stood still .....
here are sum of d pics.....

we passed by the nice beaches.... airport..... cable skii.......

we went to marine parade hawker to settle our lunch..... after d ride......
then we settled dwn at home....
cz we were worn out......
and all turned into indian ad......
so tanned!!!

after d nyonya treat at katong.... we headed to airport..... :)
it's a short trip which made me recall of a lot of laughters.....
it will still curls up my lips whenever i looked thru the pics......

we depart from Cyberjaya early in d morning....
thx Tony for fetching us to putra ERL...
we manage to reach spore safely.... and Wendy came n pick us up.....

Lunch was settled at Astons the Western Restaurant at Katong... :)
sumhw... Ti Gong dint really answer to my prayer....... it was raining the whole afternoon till late evening.... sobz...
however we still manage to go Ngee Ann City b4 it rained cats and dogs....
then at there... we spotted the "Free HUG" event....
of cz... i gave them a big hug!! :)
then we enjoyed ourselves with the games at BEST in Ngee Ann City...
m seriously so luving the "underpass" structured in spore.....
it makes everything so convenient for traveling.....

we headed to Esplanade, Suntec City, Fortune of Wealth, the Flyer.......
bought ourselves ice cream from Swensens.... (which i ended up in vomiting)
strolling along the pathway at all the nicely designed buildings at there......

activities at home~
Nintendo Wii + playing with Timbo + UNO + Twister....
Junjie did went out to Geylang with his frens...
but we dint join him......
we still manage to get him to dapao for us....
wakakkaa~~~

tat's all for Day 1
ended with : laughters due to the games.... muscle soreness due to the games too......
conclusion : Harry is the big loser of the day....... :D ; Junjie got big harvest from Geylang~ woot@@

was supposed to blog about the spore trip i had during midterm break...
but when i jz finished editing the first pic for the trip.....
then suddenly ai boon(my hsemate) ym me.......

i was stunned when i saw her msg...
thinking tat she might be having a late april fool joke for me.....
quickly, i checked on my sis's fb status....
in an instant, i grabbed my hp n called mum.........
thank god, he's fine........

for goodness sake**
i mz be d lousiest daughter in d world.......
so ignorant of d incidents at home......
summore is other ppl tell me wat happen to my kins....
tears jz flow dwn my cheeks when this thought came into my mind.............
sigh
